cf. S3774. A contemporary counterfeit of a George III 1773 first issue halfpenny. The dies engraved to a higher standard than usual with the main fault being the uneven obverse legend with an irregular font and the reverse has a crude Britannia. The weight of 8.57g is high for a copy.
A little wear to the laurel leaves and more to Britannia, but overall a decent example of these copies.
