S3954, Freeman 13, Gouby BP1860L. Victoria 1860 bun head bronze penny with obverse E and reverse d. From a private collection recently consigned.

Some residual lustre in the obverse legend and within the exergue, the coin is struck from a heavily laminated obverse die. The lines behind the tie ribbon showing a die close to disintegration. Toned with general wear to the higher points.
