Threepence and fractions

The section is for currency threepences in all metals and threehalfpences. The first threepence, value one quarter of a shilling, was struck during the reign of Edward VI as a fine issue coin. It has been struck in most reigns since then, but today only exists as part of the Maundy money. Threehalfpences were struck only during the reigns of Elizabeth I, William IV and Victoria.
