A Guide to the Study and Arrangement of English Coins; Henfrey H W (1870)

A Guide to the Study and Arrangement of English Coins by Henry William Henfrey (1852-1881). Published in 1870 by John Russell Smith, this copy is dedicated by the author to the archaeologist, geologist and numismatist Sir John Evans (1823-1908), with whom he shared interests. Includes Evans' bookplate inside the front cover. Comprises three parts with 94, 148 and 32 pages respectively. Hardback.

Some slight staining to the boards, but internally clean and in very good condition with only minor spotting to a few pages and an interesting provenance.
