S1635, N1275, Withers 17c. Edward III Treaty Period halfpenny of London with annulet stops on the obverse and an unbarred A on the reverse. Weight 0.73g. Ex R C Carlyon-Britton, E J Harris and Lord Stewartby (lot 1166) collections. Prior owners' envelopes included.

Toned with an excellent portrait on a trimmed, but still overweight flan, with strong detail to both sides and struck from a rusty obverse die.
