A medal issued by the Independent Order of Rechabites, a temperance movement founded in Salford, Lancashire in 1835. Made in silver by Joseph & Richard Griffin of Chester and hallmarked to 1906. Enamelled with the society's arms and with suspension ring. Weight 9.79g.
